Bowman swimming pool heat exchangers are manufactured with corrosion resistant cupro-nickel tubes and bronze end covers and are therefore suitable for use with chlorine water, seawater or therapeutic and spa pools. Bowman heat exchangers will normally well outlast stainless steel ones. Our units are very easy to maintain as both the end covers and tube stack can be removed easily for cleaning, this is unique to our design.

Bowman heat exchangers can be used where the swimming pool water is heated by a boiler or by solar panels.

Units suitable for use with pools up to 145kW or 500,000 BTU/h are supplied with mounting brackets as standard. Bowman heat exchangers are also available with a thermostat pocket which enables a thermostat probe to be fitted into the end cover. This removes the need for the thermostat to be fitted into the pipework.

The heat exchanger can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

Bowman swimming pool heat exchangers can also be used to cool swimming pools in hot climates. Water from a chiller passes over the heat exchanger tubes instead of boiler water or water from a solar panel which is used when heating swimming pools.
